Gluten Free Pączki

Fat Tuesday is coming & around here, that means Pączki Day! The only tragedy in Pączki Day is…gluten free pączki are damn near impossible to find. Sure you could order them online, but that would cost a million dollars shipping and they’re already a day old before you set eyes on them. The best way to ensure a tasty, fresh, free […]

Pork & Cheese Dip

To read the contents of our freezers, you would think I butchered Old McDonald’s entire farm. I have 3 hogs, a few turkeys, rabbits, too many chickens to count, a goat or two and a few leftovers from last year’s deer hunting. There may even be a goose or duck in there. No, I’m not a […]

Pumpkin Cookies

Old, meet New. New, respect your elders. When we went camping, I bought a box of gluten free Bisquick. Fire Free S’mores

I’ve made these bars about 10 times, with both Kinnikinnick S’moreables and Schar Honeygrams. The Kinnikinnick are a bit […]

Peach Ice Cream

Today’s recipe will be short & sweet, without much commentary because life has been a little chaotic around here. Well, with 4 kids & a yard full of animals it’s never dull, but this week has been exceptionally “fun-filled”. I found this recipe in Great-Grandma’s recipe box and the directions are super easy. The only thing […]

Nacho Dip

Today’s recipe is short & sweet, quick & easy, because honestly, I feel like I’m nearing the end of a month-long cooking marathon & I’m running out of gusto. I’ve probably spent more time typing up this recipe than I did actually making the dip. Never fear, it passed my taste test. I may be […]
